I study public opinion about science and scientists' opinions about the public. My goal is to improve the effectiveness of science communication by helping science communicators be more strategic. That means figuring out what you want (goals) and then figuring out what you can communicate to get you there (communication objectives). Then you need to figure out how to get those changes (tactics).
